About Pawn Island Records

Pawn Island Records is a one-person creative music imprint founded, written, and directed by Matthew H. Freeman. The catalog begins with language, feeling, and atmosphere, then gives each kind of song its own project world: electronic pop, hip-hop, singer-songwriter material, country blues, heavy rock, stoner doom, pop-punk, and reflective spiritual writing. The aim is simple: follow the feeling, shape the release with care, and let every world keep its own voice.
